voulez vous or if it wasn't for the nights, because the both tracks are disco, with abba's personnality and style with sumptuous rhythm and vocals and because the are so differents than any others abba's songs, except perhaps gimme gimme.

If It Wasn't For The Nights very closely followed by As Good As New. A missed oppotunity for a double A-side single I think.

I like Chiquitita very much but I don't think it belonged on this album. I think it would have been better with
Kisses Of Fire on there and/or Lovelight. This would have given it more of a cohesive 'feel' but the reason I believe ABBA put schlager-ish tracks like IHAD and Chiquitita on albums was simply to please all their fans, young and old- something for everyone, in a sense. In a way I wish ABBA hadn't done this so much; I'm sure they did ultimately please themselves but I would've liked it if they'd been a bit more daring sometimes, even if it ostracised some fans. Still, Voulez Vous was in itself pretty risque with it's saucy lyrics so maybe I don't know what the hell I'm going on about! So, I'm not complaining!
