Klinga Mina Klockor or November 1989
What Cd do you prefer out of the two recordings Benny made.


They are Swedish folk and some of the songs are very good

I like November 1989 but coming a close second would be Benny's Solo effort of 1987.

benny's solo works
It seems that the bao is a job apart for benny. I think it's only pleasure for him, friendship and generosity with the public.
The benny andersson solo's albums were in a little different point of view and perhaps simply a work very serious and beautiful from one of the best musician and composer in the world after abba, chess and pop productions and before his talent was recognize for what he is.

November 1989. I sometimes listen to it before I go to sleep. It makes me feel all 'spiritual'. Which is weird because I'm not at all!!

I would say that I can't make a choice. Depends on my mood. I think that, overall, "Klinga mina klockor" is more folky inspired and "November 1989" more classically.

And the BAO music mixes those 2 with some Abba and some dance/jazz band influences, at least that's what I think of it.

Benny's music deserves more attention outside of Sweden, in my opinion. Apart from Abba fans, everybody knows him only because he's been in Abba, and he has done so much more...

The both are beautiful, perfect, composed by a real genius: perhaps "klinga mina Klockor" is my favourite, escpecially because Frida is in the chorus.

I think maxi-saxi is a non-English speaker, but then again, most non-English speakers on this forum, like you, write perfect English.
