Would be interesting to hear but no-one, not even Frida, could possibly sing this song better than Agnetha.
Anthony.

Frida herself has sometimes professed she would loved to have sung "The winner takes it all" but as far as I know it was never tried out.
An early idea was also to have Björn on lead vocals.

Intresting,
If there was such a version, I'd bet it would give a different meaning to the song but I would Have to say Agnetha's best vocal by far

Among my fav songs are Money Money Money and The Winner. So naturally, I would love to hear what feelings Frida would convey in The Winner. So would I like to hear Agnetha's interpretation of MMM!

The winner takes it all fits Frida's voice very well, I'm sure she would have done a good job if she had sung it. And now we would be asking ourselves if there is a version of the song sung by Agnetha hidden somwhere, and would try to imagine how it would sound. I think Frida and Agnetha are so good singers that they could have swapped their leads and everything would have worked as well as it works the way it is. Anyway I think the secret of Abba's magic has more to do with the blend of their voices than with their leads.
