Flea Market - Disclaimer and Rules of Use (Read!)
By using the Flea Market Forum to trade or sell you are bound to abide by the following user agreement:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The flea market is restricted to ABBA related items. 'abba4ever' will remove non-ABBA related items without prior warnings.
The "Sells and Offers" and "Searches and Requests" sections are restricted to private and non-commercial use. They are accessible only for registered members. Guests have no access.
Commercial vendors, even if they are forum members, will be linked in the publicly visible "Stores" forum only. Please contact the site management to submit links.
'abba4ever' acts as a venue which allows registered members to offer, sell, trade, swap and buy items at a fixed price, set by the member listing the item.
It is not allowed to link to or advertise auctions hosted on external platforms (f.e. EBAY, Tradera)
'abba4ever' does not review every listing provided by members and is not involved in transactions between buyers and sellers at all.
As a result, 'abba4ever' makes no assurances over the quality, safety or legality of the items advertised, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of sellers to sell items or the ability of buyers to buy items.
Any disputes must be taken up with the seller only. Do not assume that the offer, sale, purchase, export or import of any item is valid and legal simply because it is listed on the 'abba4ever' forum.
Note that a request by a customer does not mean they are legally obliged to purchase this item. 'abba4ever' is not responsible for ensuring that buyers and sellers actually complete a transaction.
You accept sole responsibility for the legality of your actions under laws applying to you.
Any items deemed inappropriate by any of the moderating staff will be removed immediately, without prior notice or warning.
Inappropriate items would be for example:
- Offering bootlegs or downloads of bootlegs
- Linking to or advertising auctions on external platforms (f.e. EBAY)
- Offering or requesting illegal downloads of copyrighted and legally available music and videos
- Offering or requesting illegal copies of copyrighted and legally available music and videos
Linking to own websites or webblogs in order to describe the offered items is allowed as long as the external content linked to meets the above standards of being appropriate.
It is expected from sellers that after placing an offer in the market place they abstain from all other internal activities to advertise their offer. Contacts should originate from interested addressees who contact suppliers. Especially it is not allowed and will be considered as spamming if sellers send unrequested mass mail or personal messages to other members in order to promote their sells. It is not allowed to create a topic in other parts of the forum just to promote sell topics in the flea market.
In contrary to the rest of the forum, in the flea market forum authors have the authority to delete their own topics. If a transaction is completed and the topic no longer necessary, the author is asked to remove the topic from the database.
It is not possible to publicly reply to the topics in the flea market. Buyers and sellers are asked to negotiate their bargains privately via email or the personal message system.
Please! When writing a topic, make sure to choose a representative subject line, so people can see what is being offered or requested without having to open the topic. Avoid nonsense subjects like "Desperately wanted!!!!!!!" or "Great offer! LOOK!!!!". 'abba4ever' claims the right to edit subject lines which are not clear and representative without prior warning and won't take the efforts to inform authors about the altered subject line.
The maximum duration of a topic is 50 days. If a topic has not been removed by the author after this period of time, it will be deleted automatically. There is no way to prolongue this time period. Items not sold or search requests not met have to be re-posted in a new topic.
