John Densmore has to be one of the best drummers around today. He's got great technique. I just received this copy of his new band's album from fontana called Tribaljazz. It's not The Doors, but I know it's what he wanted to do for some time now. It's a mix of jazz and world music, pretty cool stuff. Very soothing and relaxing stuff I think. I think he's great no matter what, even if he's doing jazz.
