I only got information about the YFU Camping-Trip of the states Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas for 60 bucks. I'll probably participate in that one. Furthermore I heard about bus-trips at the end of the schoolyear (either to the west or east)

Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass nur Leute aus deinem District die Moeglichkeit haben nach Hawai zu fliegen.
Kann leider nicht mitfliegen. Das ist aber nicht wirklich schlimm. Dafuer war ich vom 7-9.Oktober bei den Niagara Faellen. War echt toll.
Im Fruehling ist dann noch ein Trip nach New York, Philadelphia und Washington, der aber reichlich viel Geld kostet.

also im angebot is hier noch eastcoast und westcoast...
wuerde gerne nach new york! aber ich flieg halt schon nach hawaii...
und westcoast lohnt sich nicht..weil ich das alles selber hier mache... San Francisco is gleich um die ecke... und nach L.A. und San Diego werde mehere male fliegen :D:D

I also got information about the travel stuff.
There are 3 trips that I could participate in:
LA - February; about $500 + airfare
Orlando - April; about $500 + airfare
NY - June; about $700 + airfare
On the first 2 I'd miss school, and I've already been to Orlando. I don't care about the school, but I think I'd like to go to the NY trip just to get out of the South and to see how the Northerners are... In general it seems to be the most interesting.
What do y'all think?

also wenn ich den Zug nehme brauch ich nich ganz ne stunde...naja is halt Long Island und wenn ich mit meiner Gastmum fahre dauert das schon mal nen bissel läger weil der Verkehr ja Horror is....

ich brauch 10-15min nach Downtown San Jose... obwohl ich hier wohn.. ehm naja.. ich brauchte auch 10-15min von mein haus bis nach Downtown Erfurt lol
but with the Erfurter Subwayv20min ;) ..auch genannt Strassenbahn :D

back to the trips,
I'm going to Washington D.C. and New York with YFU (East Coast trip) the week before Spring Break (I've no clue when that is, but I'll figure it out)
It would be f***** awesome if I see at least one of you guys.

hm ja, also ich geh ja mit meinen gastbruder zu seinem vater der in boston wohnst, da wollen wir angeblich auch ma nen tagesausflug nach nyc machen.. weis aber nicht wann.. und wenn dann nur zwischen christmas un neujahr :)

Hey people, i thought maybe, that i also write again. Today is the first day that i looked in our "forum", well and i will such a trip with YFU
I will also go to hawaii BUT not in April. I will go in March the first week. Yepp thats the deal. and then a week before i fly home i will go to Mexico, but that is my own thing and has nothing to do with YFU

I'll definitely go to New York. We already called the travel agency and asked if i can fly on stand by (i can use my host moms AA benefits --> the flight will cost me 2$) and they gave their oral permission.
After the YFU-Trip, I'll fly from NY to Boston to go from there to a family house in New Hampshire.
The last 2 weeks I'll spent at home with my friends.
btw, my departure days is on june 26.

ok... so im going next weekend 3 days snowboarding in Lake Tahoe
in 2 weeks im in new york city
and in 3 weeks in Las Vegas! yea!
and then probable hawaii...
i also gonna go to L.A... but dunno when yet
and at the end of the year like in july, im going to boston for 3 weeks (gonna cruise down to nyc sometimes then too) .. and hopefully i can fly then at the 31st of July back to germany from boston!

The week before i will leave the US i will go over to mexico (as i already wrote i guess...) and i will fly on the 25th of june and will arrive at the 26th of june...yepp yepp....

no..my ones is till the 31st of JUNE! but you can tell yfu that u wanna stay a month longer... and only a month... your visa is automaticly one month longer... they did that when u came to the u.s.!
so tell ur parents to contac yfu... and ask about that
but u have to pay 180euros extra i guess...

dude, ich fliege vom 1.3. bis zum 8/9.3. naja vielleicht sehen wir uns ja auf dem Flughafen, muss aber noch mal abchecken, wann genau ich nach Honululu komme....Waere echt zu geil gewesen....naja aber was nicht geht das geht nicht. oh und by the way ich bin im heartlanddistrict....also naja.....
