Björn at the Mamma Mia! 5th anniversary in New York photos.
I just got back from New York where I attended the 5th Anniversary performance of Mamma Mia! on Broadway and the after party. Björn attended both events and I'm happy to share some of my photos with you:

Hi Pepe,

Tell us more. Did you have a chance to talk to Björn? What was the banner that he received and showed to the audience while on stage?
Boy, Björn looks as if he had lost even more weight!

Björns seems not confident with glasses. He does not wear them on stage. I think he is much more attractive without them. Why doesn't he wear contact lenses?

I doubt anyone can answer that question, Dutchy :-) But I've been wearing specs for 35 years and I only tried to wear contact lenses once .. and hated them. Fiddly little blighters - and soooo uncomfortable. Perhaps Björn just isn't vain enough to put up with the burden ... I know I'm not :-)

The Banner was a proclamation that October 18, 2006 was Mamma Mia! day in New York. I really didn't speak to much to Björn other than to tell him thank you for all the years of happiness he has brought to me. I get so nervous, I never know what to say without coming off like a total idiot, so I try to stay silent lol!

It was so strange to be able to party with him in the same room. He mostly sat at a table the entire night eating and chatting with various MM! people who would sit next to him.

He looks great though! You can tell he has lost some weight. When I saw Benny in Minnesota, he had lost quite a bit of weight as well.

Good for you that you were not all over Bjorn like a sweaty fan! I am sure he appreciates the calmer reserved fans!
