Here we are again XD
The two gettin'-lost-in-Down-Under-guys are still alive, a bit sick, anyway, but in perfect mood to let behind the nation's capital, Canberra_ four nights in here are enough, tomorrow morning we'll take the coach to the next big stop, to Melbourne, Victoria_
We arrived in Sydney on October, 10th, stayed there in a wonderful hostel called THE MAZE (if Sydney, then there, you won't regret!) until October 16th. Indeed it was a city full of glamour and a bit stress, but nevertheless just beautiful (never ever before we met that friendly girls+guys, officials+animals). Of course we made all that tourist stuff as well, means: visiting the Harbor Bridge, Opera House, the Aquarium (first time in my life I saw living platypus+sharks, as double as large as myself, just a few centimeters away, only big glass between us), the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Rocks, Darling Harbour. Jumping against the waves and people watching at Bondi Beach! One-day-trip to the very amazing Blue Mountains_
All in all I made so far pictures in a size of about 2.5GB (including Bangkok, Ko Samet, Sydney+Canberra). Will put the best of them online as soon (+hopefully cheap) as possible in Melbourne_ This should be more pleasure than just a boring travel report, eh? Am I right or what?
From Australia's largest city we went to Canberra by coach - three hours, $26 each. Nice city, but not possible to stay here longer than we did (I am very aware of the fact that everything is different when you meet wonderful locals inviting you to the few sexy bars+clubs in the city, eh).
Most of the time we had great fun in here, went to the Casino - won some dollars at Roulette, discovered a great supermarket (called "Supabarn"=Superscheune!) and smoked the cheapest industrial cigarettes we could get (a pity for Donnie, he's forced to reduce his consume dramatically!)_
Currently we feel a bit sick, perhaps a little flu, but nothing to worry about. Everything will be fine when we've found the first good job in Victoria_ What could it be? Picking delicious fruits on a farm, working in a factory, moving furniture again as we did in THE MAZE? Unpredictable the future is...
Ahh... I dunno why, but somehow get to see every evening another wonderful movie (practical, because original soundtrack): "SW: EP IV", "L.A. Crash", "FINAL DESTINATION 2" and "WOLFCREEK". Ah, if you do not want to be scared about us - do not watch WOLFCREEK. Otherwise: just do so, nice entertainment. Slapstick horror and poor tortured girls. Ah, and of course: "Based on real facts". Eheheheee_
RESULT: The most beautiful gurls hang out in front of the library's computers, come from Spain and are not easy to handle with (X
I'm not able not to get to a bookshop and check out the shelves full of Lonely Planet travel guides. Incredible! I fell in love to some books (once again)!
There is a nice cheap label in Australia's supermarkets called BLACK&GOLD. They have everything, from POTATOES via RICE and NOODLES, SWEETS and FRANKFURT SAUSAGES to BATTERIES, HEALTH CARE ARTICELS and even TOILET PAPER. The only firm we get things from_
