Hi Mailman
We didn't end up having an English Musical at all. it all relied on whether the French Musical would go alright, we had Three to Four singles released, I remember I brought two which were:
A side Time (Music was from Arrival) with Frida. B side I am the Seeker
Second Single was Like an Image Passing By Eliane Piage Music was from (My Love My Life) with the B side Being When Dreamers Close their Eyes. Music was from (Like an Angel Passing through My room)
It was Nice the Original Music was used in the Concept, and gave the Music a new Meaning.
I now have all these Tracks On mp3
Best wishes

Andrea you are AWESOME!! Thank you for posting these links! I never knew any videos existed for all these songs. I first got the LP back in 1984 and I always loved it. A few months ago I finally managed to get the CD. It's so great to put faces with all the voices.

This is such an old thread, but ABBF Fan Club is now selling the Dutch version on CD. I have just ordered one. I've only heard a couple of songs from it. I LOVE the French version. It will be nice to have both of these on CD!

I wonder how long it will take for someone to get permission to revive this musical? I thought the Elaine Paige single "Like An Image Passing By" was really lovely - the acoustic intrumentation and slightly lower key suited the melody quite well.

Not as long as Mamma Mia! is around... Macintosh who is also behind Mamma Mia! was also behind this ABBACADABRA project and I doubt B&B would want to stage this again.

There was an English production of the show (which Frida and Stig attended).
Here's a pic of the official pin badge as sold at the theatre. My scanner not working so my web cam is the only way I can show it at the moment. Darren

That's cool Darren! I would have loved to have seen either the French or English production. There are many clips on YouTube from the French one, maybe someday it can be released on DVD.

To Morten: "I am the seeker" has been co-written by Don Black and Mike Batt and is not a mere Benny & Björn song. I just checked my 7" vinyl "Time" single with "I am..." on its b-side. I like "I am..." a lot and wonder who actually wrote which parts of the song (both music & lyrics). I know some Mike Batt songs and the song sounds a little like a Mike Batt song, but maybe that's only because of the arrangement. The song takes off with a nice and very remarkable strings section and that's more or less a typically Mike Batt feature.

The lyrics were co-written with the other two. The music is just B&B ( actually more Benny than Björn).
