Walk the path of burned earth
Corpses to my sides
Screaming shadows staring at me
From the walls which could not hide
Smell of burnt skin rises
From the smoking ruins
The wind tells a story
Of death and destruction

I walk along a river
Which caught the blood of fallen ones

On the left side clans and cultures
With tribal flags and pride full eyes
On the right side crawling skeletons
Staring at their cold, dead hands

From the serpentines of hate
Over the bridge of war
Into the abyss of all ends
We walked

I look into the sea
Where the last ship’s sinking down
Where the sun does not rise again
Cause the dust still takes her light
In this distorted mirror
I see a face I’ve never seen
Who was that primitive stranger
Who believed in love and peace

The earth still shifts by thunder
I look at my feet
My eyes are open but
I forgot how to see
I kneel down and take the dead hand, Still can’t think, can’t feel
The ring on my wife’s finger means my family’s gone to hell

Some people say it’s destiny, sometimes this might be real
But god is a dollar-bill and no one knows how to deal
God is technology, progress, medicine
Disparities, aids, nukes, destruction, you believed in him

As The Devil Lost His Fight
In early times we fought
In early times we ran for our lives
When the beast came with his armies
To kill the seeds which should not thrive

When the spawns of demons came
And the angels drowned in floods
We sat shaking in our caves

Searched for glory in guerilla-tactics
Democracy in our heads
Our hearts screamed for revolution


Time had come for revenge
To get out of diabolic submission

Bloody rage and fear filled our eyes

The fire he spat from deep down under

His twisted mights we broke
With knowledge in our backs

We brought the beast to its knees

The swallowing power of his sea
Will us take where we came from
The coasts will break away
While the skylines stand in flames
Civilisation getting crushed
By falling rocks and bright lightnings
His breath we took by burning forests
