Dear Fans of Navy Field,
I have few things to share today. First, let's talk about the balance event and how it is being processed. I am currently working on these balance issues and will be ready to implement the adjustments within two weeks. I was pretty embarrassed about the way that the balance event turned out, and that only few people were interested in it. The winning idea only received 97 votes. We have a few thousand active players yet only less than 100 people voted for it. So, what if only 100 people are satisfied with adjustments made in conjunction with the winning idea? What if the other thousands don't like the changes made using the winning idea as a guideline? It makes me think, "Do I have to take this risk for those 100 people?" I am very perplexed as to why such few people have participated in this event. If editing the in-game balance of NF is one of the most talked about issues, then why was this opportunity neglected? Please give me reasons for why I should balance the game according to what 100 players thought was correct.
Secondly, we have a new renewed "Shipyard" page with more updated information.
You can find all the detailed information of guns, shells, engines, FCS and aircrafts. For this please share your opinion about each ship that we have made comments for under the "comment" menu of each ship.
Third thing concerns Harbor Assault. It is almost ready for open beta testing. We are working on making a manual for HA. We are planning to start the beta testing on September 21st. The test server and test client will be ready before that day and all testers will have level 105 sailors with a large amount of credits and points. I am thinking about having 120 testers with 30 testers for each fleet in order to have 4 fleets test. Please suggest to us your brilliant ideas of the fairest manner in which to pick those 120 testers.

OMG...
He should think about how complicated it was to find this freaking contest for the most of the ppl.
The other think is that about 3/4 of the top players are bored to discuess and write their opinion about the balance in forum, coz it never changed before!
My guess: The rebalance wont effect as much we hope...and will give again one nation all benefits at higher lvl again. Thats my guess...and till now i was quite ride with my promises about game changes after implementing new stuff.
Hopefully iam wrong :D

As you say, most of the experienced players couldn't be bothered with the "event" because the balance issues had been discussed to death and actually some conclusions had already been reached.
So my worry is that he's going to implement what was put forward in the "event" rather than the conclusions of the consultations and debates that went on previously. The latter are credible, the former aren't.
