Dear Fans of Navy Field,
I would like to make a statement today regarding "Hacking and Lost Item" reports on NF. Since my brother aka SDMaster is busy with another project, I am left solely to cover the job of solving "Hacking and Lost Item" reports. Lately, I am noticing far too many false reports. More specifically players are making mistakes and then pretend as if they have been hacked. For example, they gave out their password to their friend and their friend sold everything in his account and then reported as hacking. Other cases involve players who gave their sailors to others in order to level up for them and never receive them back and then report as hacking. My time is wasted on looking up these logs; it takes away from other things more important than this. Therefore, I will no longer take a look at a report if it does not meet the requirements I will lay out. I will not take a look at reports which are a result of player's mistake. So, how do we define hacking? Hacking and Lost Item reports MUST include the following information:
1. What: Things you have lost.
2. When: The time it occurred.
3. How: How it happened.
4. Where: Did it occur in battle or shipyard?
5. Who: Is anybody involved in this incident?
6. Why: Any idea why this occurred?
Most likely players are wondering how we define hacking or lost items. For hacking, we trace the IP and if a trade is made between the same IP, we usually consider it as hacking. Or, if the trade is made on a different IP than the player usually plays we will also consider it as hacking. Hacking reports must follow these guidelines, otherwise we will not recover!
Lost? Lost items must not be shown on "Trade" and "Dismiss" logs. The items we cannot trace out are considered as lost items. If we see them on logs, then we will not recover them.
Please use the following advice:
1. Do not share your account with other people, not even your own brothers. We do not allow account sharing.
2. Do not give out your password to other people, not even Team NF, if I ask you for your password, just say "Go to Hell", or if other Team NF members ask for your password then take a screen shot and send it to me. I will kick that person out of the team and ban his account. We never ask for your PASSWORD. Also, if anybody asks for your password then take a screen shot as well and report it to Team NF. His account will be banned too.
3. Keep your password safe. It is your responsibility to keep your personal information safe.
I am sorry for being a pain, but these cases are getting out of control so much that I cannot handle it anymore. Please understand my situation and thank you for supporting NF.
P.S.: I have started working on a new balance system, so I do not want to waste too much time on false reports.
