    Attention! Druid Looting System
    Heya,

We have a new druidlooting system.
I will tell about every druid talent tree.

    Balance,
Balance druids are able to roll on + damage/healing gear. But NOT on healing only and Feral gear. There also NOT able to roll on cloth! Keep that in mind.

    Feral,
Feral druids are from now on able to roll on hunter/rogues intems. But as feral druid you can also get really good feral gear in ZG/AQ. So think about doing some ZG/AQ runs!

    Restoration,
Resto druid are the only druids that can roll on +healing gear! But they are NOT able to roll on damage/healing gear. Aswell as Feral Gear.

Plz if you want to switch talents, please discuss it with me:). It's imporant for me to know what you're talents are! Cause atm we don't need more Balance or Feral druids :)

    Thank you,

    Vespucci 8)

Hi (and welcome as classleader, Vespucci)!

I'd like to comment on the looting system proposed - I'm a miauw-drood.
First of all, I like the proposal! It'd be nice to get access to valueable dps-raising items that rogues and hunters usually want. Unfortunately I see the following discussion arise (being new to 85 I have only been part of 2 raids and so my druid-raid-use impression is influenced by my former guild, too):

We have to descide for one of the following roles (uses) in the raid
    a) resto (life)
    b) miauw (rogue&hunter + crit)
    c) oomkin (caster + crit)

Although I'm miauw, I so far have been a (thus more or less bad) healer most of the times. I fear that our cusomers (i.e. the rest of the raid) mostly wishes us to act as "a" and i.e. why we will in many cases do so. Thus dps-items we recive will less likely be used to the benefit of the raid (only if we act as "b" or "c") and due to being needed as "a" sometimes we even need our class-set, too.

I did the maths of our +crit aura in comparison to the loss of dps having me miauw instead of a rogue and guess (pls correct if u calcualted differently) - I couldnt compensate the rogue-loss fully. Which seems reasonable as we are able to ressurect and innervate even being miauw, which rogues cannot!

    In short:

When taking away dps-loot, we might try to get our customers to our side like "rogue&hunter: I need your buff!", "priest: I wanna have innervates from dps!" and "tank: I need to have that additional ress!". I'd really be happy if we could establish oomkins and miauws in raids, always wanted to hear that call of raidmembers blizz once spoke of "nooo! droood, keep in form!" ;P

I understand that u want 2 be in catform mostly :D , but if we don't have enough druids in raid. There can be a possibilty that u have to be healer. But fortunaly for the feral druids. That won't be that nessecary in MC anymore. But it will be in the new instance BWL. That's why I think u all should get the Cenarion Set. Just in case u have to heal. But remeber the Resto druids go first cause they need it all the time...

I will make sure that any of the druids will get Cenarion anyway. It's important 2 have healing gear. But remeber u can also get really good bleu healing gear. There drops for example a really nice Two-Handed mace in stratholm.

    Vespucci :D

I hope I anwsered u question, Cause somethings I didn't really understand

My healing gear consist of crappy blues& few greens :? from quests. I think it is sufficient (~30 mana regen & ~240 healing power). I haven't took part in raids due of lack of time. It this moment i don't have link to my gear but i have started to adding gear to ctprofiles (search epuj).

    Nice system
I think that the subject says it all... nice system
too bad I couldn't join MC cause 3,5 hours wasn't enough,
However I am pretty sure that someone leaves before he even did 3,5

I agree, if best gear goes to council or leaders. They play lot and they earn it.

It's treu Epuj, Most leaders/officers play way more then some other ppl so it's fair. They get more loot:). But I also wanna make sure you and the others get loot to. It's important we all have up 2 date gear for the healing(the resto druids) in MC and other instances.
