I'm not writing any own descriptions, so I copy from the official site:
Jade Warrior is an epic love story about battle between good and evil. It combines fantasy and kung fu and takes its inspiration in Finnish folk lore compilation known as The Kalevala. The film connects Finnish and Chinese mythology. The events take place in two different times and places: in modern Finland and in ancient China.

Narrator:
Listen.
Iron wanted to be with Fire, but Fire burned it, so it escaped to the swamp.
In the swamp, Iron was hiding for a long time, so long, that it forgot why had it born to the world.
Until the Wolf was running besides the swamp.
The earth was moving in its footprints
To those footprints, Iron rose up from his hideout.
Old Chinese man:
The smith has a son.
He shall rise against the last son of Loviatar.
Narrator:
Now you know the birth of Iron, but Iron knows nothing of you.
Male actor:
Do you still love me?
Female voice:
Forever.
Narrator:
Forge me the Sampo, and I promise you, that you shall get your loved one back.

The film features some things from finnish national epic, Kalevala. The birth of Iron, first part that narrator spoke is one of those things. Sampo is another, a tool that gives its user riches.
No doubt that this film will be a must-see for me, as I like some chinese films like Crouching tiger, hidden dragon and this one is partially made in Finland.
