I was talking to his agent about having a show at the festival, but she didn´t really like the idea. It´s a money thing ... it´s all up to me to do kind of presentation, but it would have to be my own VO clothes - means I would have to buy them. So to answer your question: no, Virgil won´t be there unless I´m not the one to pay for his ticket and make him come over as my guest. Unless I´m not making any money with my company I can´t make any deals like that.

Surfing around and came across a mention that Virgil is having a fashion show Aug 16 in Santa Fe, NM (Thursday night at the start of the annual Indian Market - which 'Imprint' is also screening at). :wink:
It was on a band's myspace: Sol Fire.

but you are all right - it´s on my list with things to do! Together with the "Gathering of Nations". The "AIFF" is on the list as well - so I´ll do it step by step ... I guess, Virgil has a show at the Santa Fee Indian Market every year now and so there is still hope for me to make it happen one day.

Speaking of not giving up hope, I have just learned that my former co-worker's girlfriend (whom I have met quite a number of times) died last week from depression. How sad. I didn't even realise that depression could be that serious, and it's becoming more and more common these days. They should be doing more research!

Oh this is sad news to hear....and unfortunately depression can kill someone - it's like they give up the will to live.
Someone should to research on Depression - they do it on everything else.
Also no matter how much help one gets - sometimes it's just not enough.
I'll be praying for your friends family.

there are so many different kinds of depression! And there are a lot of studies about it. I know a few people who do suffer from depressions and they all have different symptoms. It´s a very strange illness and too many things do come together. Even a person who is in an extreme good mood can have a depression (good mood as a symptom!) - and alot of people do have depressions without knowing it.

The home page opens with a flash video of a male & female model - when that ends a photo of Michael then loads with a link to info about the show. If you go to the page about the show - under the pottery section the photo is repeated.

I was reading on another board and someone posted that Virgil, Michael & Eddie are working on a film about the Pueblo Revolt (historical), and that it would be showing at Hatch and (hopefully) Sundance.
Unfortunately, the person who posted that did not say where they got the information (may actually have a connection or not). Also, they did not say what year it would be showing at Hatch or if it's a historical drama or a documentary.
A documentary already exists and is aiming to be shown at the 2008 Sundance Festival.
Anyone here know anymore info?

I have no idea. All I know is that the Hatch Festival doesn´t have a Native showcase every year, but 2007 they should have one. I don´t think that it will happen then, but I can find out about that. Sundance will be too soon for a new film ... :roll: Maybe in 2009 ...
As I said - I have no idea, but maybe I will get a few answers on this at the festival in Frisco.
