I try to post a picture, how the homepage could look like.
difficult thing will be to find the correct url, because I am not firm with ftp servers.
(hope it is there)
If it is there, you should see a possible layout for the homepage. Its resolution is 970 pixels from left to right and 600 from up to bottom.
To explain it a bit:
The homepage should have to do something with an island. More info I dont have yet.
So I used a render program and made a little isle-group with water and sky and partly a tree. In a picture-editing program I tested a bit arround. The normal render program made nice water and everything, but it didnt look special. I used few effects and now it looks like that. I personally like it because it looks like an old paper, with an unknown island on it.
Now you guys must say, if the colours and the layout would be ok or if I am totally wrong in what I am doing.
One strange thing happened: I made the picture on another pc. There the colours look a bit different. Not so green especially in the left bottom.
Whatever, if I shall change something or start new at all, tell me.
To the left are the main buttons. I could change the colour, or use small pictures, or take away the underline.
In the main window you can see many times: "hallo, codex"
It is only to test. Means, it is the codex side. And it was to test the scroll bars. You maybe nearly dont see the scroll bars to the very right. Just the two arrows up and down. I thought it wouldnt look bad if they are nearly invisible. I can make them totaly black and unseen. Or I could make them more visible. Tell me your thoughts.
One problem could be the text colour. If I can manage it to make it good visible on so many colours in the picture.
Now I will post and hope the picture is there :)

with a gem on the top. I didnt want to make the gem too big. And maybe the colours are now less mixed.

The second is much better but the gem could be a bit smaller and maybe less round.

Are you using any kind of programs for this webpage (flash etc) or do you write the codes yourself?
The island background looks interesting, looking forward to see where it leads.

I only use an html-editor. It is at least a small help, maybe like Netscape composer. But you more or less only see the html or java code. Although you can fast change font-colours, sizes and tables.
But anyways, help doesn't helps much, when you don't know what you are doing with the html-code. I know what I do and the internet helps me. There are many html help sites. You must look, understand the code, use it for your page, alter it, change it, and again the biggest problem, understand it. It is learning by doing.
