Hi all,
I just arrived in this part of the universe, and it seems like here is where the party is really going on.
I am curious if there have been any thought on trying to get some company to do a video game based on the Iron Savior story. I find it to be a very intriguing story that would probably play out well as an RPG or a tactical space game.

Strange you should mention that, because I've been thinking of making one - it was on my list of potential projects to start this summer. The trouble is that even though I have ideas for how to tell the IS story in game form, I can't really decide about the gameplay itself - an Albion-style action RPG type of thing would seem most appropriate, but that's a bit of a step up from the platformers that I'm used to writing.

David, you make games? Can I try any out? Among the many areas I was looking at to get good at an enjoy, "Interactive Design and Game Development" had crept up.
I know I'm overcomitting to so many projects, but this would be so amazing! Even a simple game, and even if it takes the next five years to do. You're getting me all excited!

Well, one man alone cannot possibly make a game that will really be accepted by more than a handful of people. There is a need for a talented team and an amazing 3D engine to be able to appeal to the common "gamer" out there.

Is true that is difficult to create a game if you are just one guy, but there are a lot of IS loving guys in here.
I can't be connected for too long, and that is why I do not post as I use to, but that doesn't mean I can't support the IS community from my home, and post work in prefixed dates.
If you are serious about your game proyect, let's create a list of all the needs, so we can find out who in this forum can cover each, and then form a team to bring it to life. We don't have the game, so we have nothing to loose...
I will be glad to help in the art department.
But please explain us more about this.
By the way, Roxy is a GREAT artist, and I mean that. We shared some of our work once, and I'm sure that she will be glad (If she has the time of course) to participate in this international team.
What do you think? Is it possible :?:

Since most of the action described in the songs seem to be air/space battles, would side-scrolling shooter, like R-Type or Gradius, be a workable format for a game based on the Savior stories?
