Having roamed Ironforge with my lvl 42 warrior trying to sell enchants has opened my eyes to a fact which really, really, scares me...
It seems that half the epics worn by people in this game are not enchanted, which is just completely impossible for me to understand.
Who on earth would NOT put an enchant on a tier 1 or 2 epic, to make the item even more imba than it already is?
My opinion (which is shared by the rest of the council) is that you should enchant your gear, as soon as you have at least a decent blue item, that you're likely to keep for several weeks. We have highly skilled enchanters in the guild, that are willing to do free enchanting for their guildm8s, so it's a matter of 20g or so to get all your armor slots enchanted (not necessarily the top enchants, but then the 2nd best), and there really isn't any reason why any people in a raid group have 200 HP and 7 FR less than they could easily get in an hour of grinding...
GO ENCHANT YOUR GEAR!!!! :D

All I can say to this is SLASH AGREE !!!!!
I was selling +100 health enchants for 5g (very cheap) to lvl my skill with my alt priest the other day, and a guy from Divine Knights came up to me and wanted it on his new tier1 chest piece. I asked him about the rest of his tier1, since it wasn't enchanted (yea, I inspect them, and I try to sell them more if I can). Then he told me, he wouldn't enchant anyhitng on his tier1, only his tier2 (which will propably take him some time to get). The only reason he wanted the enchant on his tier1, was that it would take them some time to down Neffi enough for him to get his tier2 chest. WTF!? Aren't people willing to enchant their tier1 ?!? IMO, guys like this do not deserve purple colored items :(
As Ally points out, it's ok to buy the 2nd best enchants, since i.e. +7 stam to bracers costs about 3g, +9 15g. The 20g for enchanting all your armor slots which can be enchanted with the 2nd best spirit/stamina/agi is about right, I think. So why on earth not do it?
