Nice encounter yesterday.....
Yesterday my 16yr old left for overnight camp, which is located up in the mountains of PA. This is her 4th year, so I'm well aware that some of the counselors come from all over the world. The counselor who checked her in was a nice young man named Ian, he was from England. We chatted a bit... only to find that he also is a HUGE Simply Red fan. He was very excited to find out that my friends and I traveled over to the UK to see SR. I also told him about my friend who is running amuck in his country as we speak... :-D
Ian told me he saw SR in concert at the Royal Albert Hall last year, twice!
It was a pleasure to encounter a taste of the UK in my own backyard. :)....a Simply Red fan to top it off!

That's AWESOME, Yo-Yo!!!!!!! I'll bet you loved having that conversation...it's always a gas to meet up with fellow fans. Hope Sierra has fun at camp!!!! And I hope you get to chat with Ian again.

With THE BEST DAMN BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And all of my other friends on this fair isle!!! The UK won't be the same when I'm done, you'd best give Ian fair warning. :D
