what is on the inspectors stamp to read ?
Anson part numbers begin with "652A". Your number is "816722", or is the first digit a "3" ?

Nils, I think it is an "8" on closer inspection. In the round stamps there is a "33" then a H D C??

Nils very few Avro parts actually carried the type number, most are one or two number followed by a letter and then another series of numbers. Only a parts catalogue would show which type they came from.
Hawker and Gloster also followed this approach, afterall they were a part of the same group of companies.
