Dont look for new Things inthis right now, i only wanted to collect the Infos on the NF Homepage for a better overview. I know you guys are doing like :wall: - but please dont do like :machkaputt:
Not to mention that the Installer Patch was uploaded by myself. It need some patience to download when u try to get it from www.filecache.de.

And i suggest to clean the registry after deinstalling NavyField using one of the following programs (that are only my favorite ones) and after that reboot your computer:

jv16 PowerTools 2006, RegSupreme Pro 1.2 or RegSupreme 1.3 (30day free trial)
These are only for Windows 98 (i think, not sure)

Reg Clean from Microsoft
(The RegClean utility is no longer supported and has been removed from all Microsoft download sites.)

As of right now we are aware that for SOME these two methods are not working, the Development team is aware of this issue and is working on the problem, hopefully soon we will have a solution.
I understand that you are upset, but flames, complaints, swearing, rude beheivor, cannot be tolerated. Please, please, attempt to remain calm during this stressful time, I am sure that a remedy will be here soon.
We will do everything in our power to keep you informed and updated as to the status of this problem. As soon as i know anything further I will post it here.

There are some people having some difficulty getting the newest patch to work. This should help most who are having difficulty with errors with applying the patch or for those whom the auto updater is not working. Please follow the instructions carefully, as they are important. (Where it says reboot, really reboot your computer)
1. Uninstall NF, use the Control pannel for this (uninstall the ENFUNS updater as well).
2. Restart your computer
3. Redownload and install NF.
4. Restart your computer
5 Unzip this file* and overwrite the approprate files.
6. Restart your computer
7. Start NF and you should be all good.

This should help most people out. There will be some that will still have difficulty. We ARE working on this issue and I hope we will have a solution soon.

Method 2
Ok if the above method didnt work try the following
Install 1.120 full version
Allow auto updater to update
Then Exit (Dont launch nf)
Download the manual patch
Run manual patch (click finish and when the version 1.122 has been installed successfully comes up use ctrl+alt+del and kill the installer) you will get a 4 digit error message and you should be able to run NF after
Thanks to Air and Tach for suggesting this (It worked on my machine when J-n's method wouldnt so this should cover a few more people)

Well... if you've tried this solution from JdashN, and it doesn't work, I've posted a fix that at least let me log in. I'm not a NF dev nor mod, so use it at your own risk (a few people said it worked for them, so hopefully it'll help some others too.) I'll post it here too:
1. Re-install version 1.122 from the download client link
2. Run the patch to the folder you have NF installed to
3. Hit "Finish" on installwizard (for the patch).
4. Wait for "Patch successfully completed" (will be next window that pops up)
5. Hit ctrl+alt+del to bring up task manager
6. Select the installshield program, and click 'end task'
7. Wait for the 4 digit error code saying there was an error
8. Use task manager to 'end task' on the error message from installshield
This at least has gotten me into the game.
The reason there's problems is that:
1. Version 1.122 client is MISSING *all* the .data files. You can't play with this version (without the patch) EVER.
2. The patch is a .exe and deletes everything it updated or added. Even if you copy and paste, the files still end up deleted.
So after you install, you have to patch (patching the complete game that's just been re-released?????). Then you have to keep the patch from deleting itself and the data it just added/changed.

V 1.122 is missing all the .data files. After installing the current version you still have to use the patch on the current & up-to-date program. Problem is that the patch 1.122 deletes the data it changed (like all the .exe files) or added (like the .data files...) That's where the various methods of patching come into play. Try JdashN's fix first, then use method 2 at your own risk (though I haven't had any issues I'm
aware of result from that), and I know a few people that method 2 has worked for when JdashN's work around didn't work.

I agree, SD Enternet should have said something to you by now, I passed on the details of the error as soon as I became aware of this issue, when I spoke to SD Enternet today I was told that their programmers were working on it.
I am sorry they haven't informed you or managed to post a fix at this time.
If you wish you can email SD Enternet at navyfield@gmail.com and explain your issue to them directly, for my part there is not much I can do other than wait for SD to create a workaround for you. They are working on the issue so I imagine they havent told me anyhting because as of yet they dont have a solution.
As soon as they do, you will be the first to know.

Just a note to some of you..DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO REINSTALL A MILLION TIMES.
Installtion a program is NOT random chance; if it doesn't work after two re-instals max
(assuming you did a PROPER reinstall and not whatever you want), then it won't work, so
just forget it.
SD Enternet as not posted a reply because they have not prepared one of don't have a solution yet, but they're working on it and will - I mean, hello, these are paying customers. Mods are also players but closer to SD, and we don't have a solution either. I apologize for SD for the invoncenience, but right now it's all up to them to get this fixed ASAP and give us a solution.
I don't mind it, but I'm just saying this for the others: Again, this is up to SD ENTERNET, NOT TeamNF or the Moderators. All we can do is keep pushing SD to do soemthing ASAP. Let me remind everyone (not that any of you have, this is just a general statement), that PLEASE do not flame ANY mod because they don't have ANYTHING to do with this, and if
you are a flamer and care so much about insulting or screaming, you are NOT being heard by anyone who matters. You are only being heard by mods and TeamNF as another person having trouble.
Please, if you have the same problem, just post that you have the same problem, but please do not flame because you would be attacking people who just like YOU can't do anythnig about it and can only wait for SD to hurry up.

The first time I used his file, but it didn't work. The second time I used
the patch with WindowsInstaller (http://www.filecache.de/93474491) and it worked. I used for the full installation version 1.122.
If had (a lot of) problems with the WindowsInstaller. Here a link for solutions:

2. Nimm TuneUp Utilities oder RegClean her, um die Registry zu saeubern.
3. Neustart des PCs.
4. Lade NF Version 1.122 herunter* und installiere es.
5. Neustart des PCs.
6. Lade den Patch mit WindowsInstaller herunter*: http://www.filecache.de/93474491 und
installiere ihn.
7. Neustart des PCs.
8. Starte NF.

habe es zum k.a. wie vielten mal, nochmal genau nach der beschreibung gemacht.
bekomme immer 2 fehlermeldungen beim patch
1. 1334 (itfesct. spr)
2. 1603 (adminrechte hab ich aufm rechner)
verwende xp mit sp1

A step by step Registry editing for the updater. Looks like it can help.
And if you need an old NF version, like 1.120 or 1.119, contact me, i have them on HD. I make my ICQ on for you now.

habe ich gerade versucht, mit vers 1.122 und nochmal das auto update.
und mit 1.121 - manual update auf 1.122- vers zurueck auf 1.121 - autoupdate.
die autoupdates macht es ja ohne fehlermeldung.
game funkt noch imer ned.

Massa, hast du mal deine (nicht meine) RPT files an Navyfield gemailt?
Die sollten im Navyfield Ordner erscheinen wenn du Fehler hast.
Und ich ahnte schon das du was neues suchen würdest, wenn du was gefunden hast gib mir mal bescheid. ;)
Die EMail hab ich z.Z. nicht zur Hand. ich guck mal ob ich die rausfinden kann.

Es funktioniert!!!!!!!!! Ich habe folgendes gemacht, um mein Navyfield wieder zum Laufen zu bringen.
Bittet, wie ich, einen Freund, der noch kein NF auf seinem PC hat oder hatte, das Spiel herunterzusaugen, es zu installieren und auszuprobieren. Er kann ja gleich mit euren LOGIN Daten joinen. Wenn es funktioniert, soll er den gesamten SD ENTERNET Ordner auf eine CD brennen.
Ihr entfernt/löscht ( nicht deinstallieren!!!!!!!! ) euren gesamten SD ENTERNET Ordner und kopiert den Ordner von der CD wieder in den Ordner, wo ihr vorher SD ENTERNET drinnen gehabt habt,rein. Siehe da es funzt!
Wir benutzen beide WIN XP und auch den gleichen Installationspfad.
So hat es bei mir funktioniert - komische Lösung aber wenns geht!

here comes the english translation of massa's fix of the CDE:
Massa played NF and after patching to 1.22 he had the Data file corrupted error. I had no version of NF on my computer before.
So I loaded down the full client version 1.22 and installed the game on my computer with the same path, Massa had installed NF v 1.22 on his computer (C:\Programs\SD ENTERNET).
After this, I started the game and loged in with Massas name and password. As i told him that the game is running I logged out, took a CD in my burner and burned the complete folder SD EnterNET (C:\Programs\SD EnterNET ) on this cd.
Massa removed his own SD EnterNet folder on his PC ( rightclick on the folder - remove ) and copied the SD EnterNet folder from MY cd on his computer to the same postion his own SD EnterNET folder was before and it worked.

The Windows Word file contains the following informaton:
This attached zip file contains 3 self-extracting zip exe's. They are
named accordingly to the folder they belong in. After executing these and files are in place game when started will toss an 'cannot execute client' error.
>OK past it and game loads. ENfuns updater in all cases downloaded
anywhere from 6 to 10 files on first run. Log-IN attempt will result in error 'corrupt data file' NF will crash. Re-Start PC, re-apply patch for navyfield folder only. 2nd run will now produce the "Hacker-Message" and NF will close. Re-start pc yet again and 3rd attempt will log-in normal.
