A letter from TeamNF
To all fans of N.F (From Team N.F)

Dear Fans of N.F,
How are you all doing? I hope everyone is doing well. It's been a while since I have personally made a community announcement. If you're wondering who I am, I'm the person who has been serving you since the debut of North American NF. I have been away working on a new N.F project named "NFWW", scheduled for release after Harbor Assault. As such, I have been away from the community for a while, but haven't missed much since I have new team members and Team N.F is doing great.
Lately though, I have been reading the forums everyday to see the issues
affecting the community and gathering ideas from players. I know many of players are concerned about Navy Field, I really appreciate that. Player's concerns about things like in game balance among nations, lack of communication between players and developers, bugs, no new contents, and more. Let me explain (or excuse) these concerns.
First, about game balance, I think I have said this several times, but I stress once more that balancing N.F is not easy work. It has been tweaked for 4 years and while it may not be perfectly balanced, if we make a single mistake on balancing, the whole game might break down. This is why we are tweaking it little by little. Please understand the delicacy of in-game balance.
Second, lack of communication which I admit we need improvement on. Currently we do not have anything new to inform you of right now. As you all know, we are developing Harbor Assault and the N.F point system. They are coming soon; we are also renovating the N.F website in order to offer a better information system. We will try our best to fulfill your demand.
Third, bugs. Yes, I know we have some bugs. However, in order to fix them, we need your help. Just saying "Fix whatever bug" does not help us. If we cannot replicate those bugs in our laboratory, then we cannot fix them. We release new patches after we do not find any errors during our tests. If you have problems or bugs, please send us RPT files in your navy field folder with very detailed descriptions. Taking a few moments to do such will possibly help the whole community out.
Fourth, lack of new game content. This is very difficult for NF since it is a PvP game. Due to this there is a limitation in regards to what type of content may be added. This is why we are making new missions and hosting Clan War type events. We apologize if we haven't met your expectations in this regard.
Lastly, let me comment on Team N.F once more. I have seen this issue in a post concerning Cheface. They aren't the only player to cause such an issue. I have seen other players who do not have any respect for our moderators. This is very frustrating and I really don't like to see it happen. This may be the last time I say this, please respect your moderators. I am not asking you to respect us, or even the game, but you must respect moderators. They are not paid people (but they are evaluated every 3 months); they are volunteering their valuable time to help players and us, to make a better game and community. If you have a problem with moderators, do not flame them on the forum, email us with detailed description of what your concern is. If it is something serious I will punish the mod accordingly. You all are valuable to us, but we do not need players who have no sense of propriety.
It does not matter how much money you spend on the game, I will refund whatever you have left and let you go if it comes to it. Please do not make me do this though, I want peace in NF so please be respectful to moderators.
Thank you for playing Navy Field.
