    Hidden Upgraders
well hiring unit with the same power throughout the game, it seems very boring. upgrading units will be more of fun! would you like to add some hidden upgraders in the map (since the map is very big) so players will have competition in upgrading their units. more competition, more hero killing, more fun! it will also add ambushes.

example, there's an alert (i mean alt+g or alt+click) on the specific place of the map where the upgrader is. the alert in the map will inform all the players that the upgrader has a new upgrade. hope you like it! :)

Are those upgrades for spawns or mercs?

    for mercs, i think

shrines for me is a spawn upgrade, what do you think?

Yes shrines are the spawn upgrade. Don´t know if a upgrade for the mercs is really needed, but I´ll think about it maybe something comes to my mind ;)

i think it's necessary to have upgrades for mercs. they'll lose effectiveness as the game goes by

just an idea, since elite archers have flaming arrows, why don't you make an upgrade for them. Like flaming arrows has more damage on buildings.

i like the idea i mean it would bring more strat to the game ud hav to think upgrade ur hero the number of units or the strength of ur units
    or myb find a balance

Surely you realize what you're saying? Permanent Invisibility at night?! NO NO NO. At night they could attack towers freely because towers no longer have true sight. Very few heroes carry dust of appearance with them unless facing a pro ninja. But "hidden" upgerades might be ok otherwise.

I really like this idea, and the ninja instead of perm invis, it can have sneak(windwalk but you move slower instead of faster)
spear peeps could up armor, and damage v calvary(long wepons>thancalvary i wounder why this wasn't alrdy implimented) and calvary could get more hp and ms

As far as I'm aware, perma-invis in WC3 is always broken upon attack anyway.

    Re: Hidden Upgraders

    Forbidden - 22.09.2006, 13:49

By permainvis I understand that the unit stays invisible whatever it does. Theres permanent invisibility skills on the Moon Shadow and Shadow Fiends ultimates in the map Land of Legends 2. They can attack, move, cast spells and do anything else and they stay invis. It all depends on what Kouenzan meant by "permanent invisibility". It should be ok if they are only invisible when moving and standing still, but not if they stay so even when attacking.

attacking will break from invisibility so that backstab will synergize well with it

    Swift_Blade - 22.09.2006, 23:34

Hmmm no i think permanent invisibility is a very bad mistake coz the ninja merc can surround a hero in the night very easily and there goes our hp.

Uh, hello? Don't they already do that?

    Swift_Blade - 24.09.2006, 00:07

Well yea but this will make the job even easier.

yeah! Great Idea, I also like this idea, and ya, change the one for the nija too
as for the idea, really great, can make the game more challanging and easier to do things, coz the towers are a problem for me actually
