Gentlemen here is something hard to identify. The part in the following picture is the only one we could excavate on the crashsite. Two .5 cal shells identify it to an american aircraft. Sorry, nothing else so far. Maybe someone can help? Thanks alot! - Kurtl

Hi Kurtl!

Please clean a check the inner site of this part complete, here you can maybe find a part number.
The black gum part is a wire holder...

hello Kurt,
the peice in aluminium is from a rib were stringers are connected on.
you can see the half piramyde gab this is for holding the stringer

possibly part of a canopy or window frame, aluminium, riveted, with part of a locking lever or catch?
