    Hier wird praktisch geschrieben wie der Helicopter in CoD4 funktioniert und wie er seine ziele auswählt. Haufen kram den ich nicht gewusst habe:

    Health:
    The helicopter has 2 components it its health, the first is armour, the second is health. The values for health are 500 Armour and 1100 Health.
    When you are shooting at a helicopter you are first taking off the armour, then the health. The way the armour works is that there is a damage multiplier that is applied to each bullet that hits. This is 0.3.
    This means that shooting at a helicopter with a M4 that normally does 30 damage per bullet will do 10 damage to the armour value. The AK47 will do 12 damage; and so on (I wont insult your intelligence by telling you how many bullets it will take to do 500 damage).
    After doing the 500 damage to the armour you then start attacking the 1100 health of the chopper at the normal rate depending on the gun you are using.


    How to hurt the helicopter:
    The most powerful weapon to attack the helicopter with is the RPG. The RPG does 1000 damage with a direct hit (0.3 multiplier will still apply with the armour).

    How the helicopter hurts you:

    The chopper (getting abit tired of writing helicopter lol) has afew different values relating to its weapons. There are values relating to how far it can see, how far away it will engage targets, how long it takes to reload, etc.
    I'll start with the beginning - spotting you.

    Finding Targets:

    The helicopter can "see" targets up to 3500 units away (for all intents and purposes that is pretty much the entire map). Even if you are behind cover it can see you, but it will not classify you as a target if it cannot see more than 50% of your player model.
    The chopper will not shoot if you are not closer than 1000 units.

    Shooting:

    Here I'll start from when you first become a target - When you spawn.
    When you spawn you have 5 seconds before it will start targeting you at you. After that 5 seconds there are a few numbers that come into play. The chopper clip size is 40 bullets, reload time is 1.5 seconds, and time between targeting and shooting starting is 0.75 seconds. Not much time, but if you can get over half of your body hidden, it might target someone else or keep fireing at the last place it saw you.

    Target Selection:

    I don't think many people know that choppers do not pick their targets at random. Choppers prioritise their targets based on a number of factors.
    These factors include the distance the target is from the chopper; what kit you have; your score and if you are attacking the chopper or not.
    A numerical value is assigned to each player, this value is the threat level and the higher it is, the higher priority the target is. The following aspects are added together to give the threat level:
    1. A number is calculated based on how close you are to the chopper.
    2. 100 points are added if you are attacking the chopper.
    3. 200 points are added if you are the Assault class. (it also adds 200 points for the recon class, but recon isnt a class. The code comments mention projectile weapons such as RPGs and GL, but this doesnt fit in with what the code actually says).
    4. Your score is multiplied by 4 and added to the threat level.


    und nun kann man erklären warum ich immer von heli verfolgt werde :D
    a) renn ich sogut wie immer mit ner assault rifle rum und b) hab ich meistens nen recht guten score :/

    Kurz gesagt: Die top spieler sollten a) schleunigst in deckung gehen, oder b)gemeinsam auf den Heli ballern. :D

    Aber gut zu wissen das Assault und den Heli angreifen einem die aggro erhöht.
