C-base in Berlin
Something really strange: Thousands of years ago a space station crash-landed in what now is known as the city of Berlin. At least that is what the ppl running a really funny club called the C-Base claim. They keep "digging out historical facts" about it and "repairing ancient equippment"...ok, in reality the C-Base is a club where you can listen to (or play) different music with no Gema-rights on it, or you can go to courses about sewing trousers and programming websites and so on.

unfortunately most of it is in German, the English part is really small up to now.

If you happen to visit their site you could talk to the intelligent sewage-treating lifeform that has been living in their sewage system for thousands of years, it is always happy about somebody to talk to. After all, its a really intelligent heap of micororganisms.

Haha...you should see the club from inside...its barking mad, too.

It makes you feel like in a real, but old and run down, spaceship.
Thats one reason I really like to go there...otherwise they also make good, cheap vegetarian food and sell cheap beer and other drinks...and the music? Ok, often its just an open jam, but its fun...and some really strange underground musicians play there. They sometimes put stuff online, so you could have a listen.

If you manage to get something, try and download "Ghettoraga". :)

Oh, sorry, no...I listen to such a heap of strange stuff I often forget other ppl donŽt.

I think they call that music Raga, but I think its some kind of psychedelic imporvisation. They use a very strange instrument they invented themselves, its called a water-harp, played with a fiddle bow.

IŽm sorry. I should not try to get you to listen to such stuff. :roll:
