My girl likes Masterplan a lot, and she just bought the new "Aeronautics" Double album. She let it running and I was surprised when I identified this modified version of "After the war". (Track 6) but they named it "After this war" :shock:
I read the booklet, and I don't know if I did not check well enough, but I was unable to find any reference to Iron Savior (Well, they mentioned Iron Savior in the thanx section, at the end, but that's it) and basically I was looking for something that said that they were using this under permission, or as a tribute, or at least a reference. :x
So, what's the deal with this song? Is not really a cover, because the lyrics and music are clearly modified, but there's no doubt that it was based on After the war. I want to know what the arrangement between Masterplan and Iron Savior was for this song to exist. :?:
I'm assuming that of course you know about this song, or don't you :?:

It's interesting for me too! :) I haven't heard to the new album, but I could suppose the song (m/w) was written by Piet and Jan, so both guys have rights on it. Well, finaly we can hear 2 versions - Piet's on Iron Savior, Jan's on Masterplan... :roll:

Oh.... that sounds... somehow interesting! :wink: But I can't tell anything about it since I haven't heard anything from Masterplan up to now... :roll: I'll check it out 8)

You see, I was going to have a show between April and May, instead the gallerist decided to move it to the beginning of April, almost one month earlier... and I'm running like a mad to be ready in time.... :( Ok, that's part of the game... :roll: Btw, yeah, I'm curious about the song... but don't send attachments over 5 MB or my mailbox will explolde!!!!!!!!! :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol:
