I am definately not the kind of person you would invite to speak at an anti-drug convention, but drugs or alcohol plays no part in Iron Savior, not in the writing phase, and not on stage either. The music is way too physical for that. If I smoked a joint or drank half a bottle of whiskey before playing "Coming Home", it would be like taking curves in a Corvette at 120mph in the same state of mind, and it's a matter of time before you end up six feet under. We like to have a couple of drinks after the show, though. Cheers.
