You are right, European metal fans are very lucky, it's easy to see rock/heavy shows here. I've seen many live shows and most of the times I took some photos. If you want I can tell you which shows I have the photos of and in case they are of bands you like, I would e-mail them to you. :D

As for the Britney Spears minions; well, I often espouse upon the virtue of Iron Savior. They are, practically, the only band I listen to.

Along time, I have learned the value of how other people see you.
That's what I mean by "Britney Spears Minions"; The average person who has popular musical tastes, and immediately thinks you're some kinda devil worshipper or serial killer only 'cause you're into metal.
You gotta be a good image seller to get along.
I have had some "looks" difficulties, you know? Because here, looking like me, provokes some "predisposition" so to speak; mostly on working environments. In fact, I have been extremely lucky to find jobs that allow me to keep my hair long. One of the first common job interview questions around is "Do you have any tattoos?" and I'm being very serious about this, they're way too... pink.
If you check out the second pic, you'll notice that I'm wearing a tie; that's one of the ways to convince them that you are NOT a bad guy.
If one of those pictures have been taken when I'm being totally me, I would be wearing boots, jeans, and a coat or a leather jacket.

I think for the most part of my life I spent with the kids or working for the club. I am the tall guy on the right in black/red/yellow. :roll:

Oh, working with kids is great! I regret I have less time to do it now... :( It always surprises me how much they can teach us, they are much wiser than we think... The youngest of my pupils is seven and it's real fun when I have lessons with her! :lol: Children are clever, open minded and very receptive, much more than us adults.
This is a bit off topic but... what do you have in your collection?
Checking your page I saw you also collect cans; do you need any from here? Nice to see there's another *collections-maniac* here! :lol: Mine have nothing to do with music... I collect cups, those cute crystal balls with the snow inside (got what I mean?) and knives, little swords and similar stuff...

Oh, and about kids. Oh yep. I think they're so free and 'themselves'. When we grow up, we try to take 'care' of so many things, manipulate that, act good. For kids, it's always "be who I am". And that's great. They're happy all the time (well, when they cry - they get what they want, and then they become happy). It's always obligations and conformity and changes and makes people "civilized". lol okay, I'm going on to nowhere lol..
Anyway, I think I've become more of a kid with metal :P lol as strange as that sound... :roll:
Oh, and @Harald: Great pictures. Can't believe you actually have a metal bar! lol WOW! :D

I fell in love with knives a long time ago, when I saw the collection of a German boy I know; he even had a copy of the dagger that can be seen in Terminator2! Then about three years ago I dated for a while an American boy who had a collection of knives, daggers and stuff and I decided it was time for me to start one. But it's just the beginning, I only have a couple of pieces... :oops: Gotta work on it!! :lol:

I really want my guitar to be strat... :cry: It's a copy: Hohner Rockwood LX-90. Maybe someday i will have enough $$$ to buy strat :wink: Meanwhile, i must play on my Hohner, but it's good for me :D From Fender i have got only amp Fender Frontman, but Fender is better in making guitars i think:)
